Just refitting a replacement rad, and doing away with the laughable set up for the otter switch that TVR installed.

The rad guy is welding on a "tapped" block to accept a standard (easy to source) off the shelf switch.

Because sourcing one of ours is gonna be a nuisance !!

Cannot remember if I gave mine away. If I can find it.....?

I had the hole sealed up and fitted an inline switch elsewhere.

Recently rebuilt the cooling system on my 400. I replaced the useless otter switch with an M22mm boss which opens up a whole lot of possible replacements including adjustable.Had the original hole sealed and the new hole cut at the front under the top inlet. The otter can be removed easily now with the rad in situ. I currently have an 80 degree switch fitted. Must admit I have not used it on the road since fitting due to other jobs on it but 80 degree maybe a little low.

Yeah, its the original casing. Never had any over heating issues at all so kept it as original apart from the new core and otter switch.
