AS title - where do you guys buy the majority of your kit from?
Most of my stuff is MTB based (although I have a few raod jerseys, and obviously shorts) for the road bike, but need to get some more kit before an alps trip in the summer...

Alwaysriding.co.uk has some rather nice stuff. I'm a big fan of Morvelo designs but the Twin Six stuff is nice too.

I like Castelli and use Gore Bike wear for the commute.

For Castelli (most of my roadie kit) it's Wiggle and Ribble (the latter having better stock IME).
For other jerseys (team/retro) it's Probikekit and Prendas
For more "casual" stuff it's Alwaysriding and Morvelo.

Second hand mostly, or prendas, or club kit. I despise spending money, especially on stuff like clothing as it doesn't make you go faster!

It's the main reason I have 4 grands worth of bike sitting here but won't pay £45 for a club jersey

Endura makes up the majority of my kit, bought from various places.

For jersey & shorts I prefer club kit as I'd rather show support to a local club & clothes maker.

For general kit I use local stores, Ribble & Decathlon and used to use Pro Bike Kit but find them expensive now.

I honestly couldn't care what I ride in name wise I done my first (and only so far) 24 hour race in kit from Aldi's, up to scratch and all of it was a bargain.

My glasses were £5.99 from Sports Direct made by Muddy Fox.

Also UK-cycle clothing are cheap.

Cool- cheers for the replies guys.. - Don't mind spending money on certain items (like shorts that fit properly, and are comfy), but agree that I don't want to go overboard on things that are needed / where cheaper stuff works just as well!

I'd echo this, dont get crappy kit but get stuff for which you feel comfortable spending it wont make you LA but it after 5 hours in the saddle if i could of made myself a bit more comfortable i would pissed if i hadnt done so.

I buy few key items but its all good kit beit gloves, bibs or jackets.... i cant see why anyone if they could and were able to justify it wouldnt buy nice kit no one high fives you for putting plastic bags over your feet instead of overshoes becuase your doing it on the cheap nor should you give a st if people raise an eyebrow because your XX stone on a carbon bike with nice kit....
