Help an idiot - norway maps on a tom tom

I am off to Norway next month and need a sat nav for the hire car. I have borrowed a tom tom 1 v3 (i think) which has uk/ireland maps on it. The unit has no SD slot just internal memory?

Anyone give me a step by step guide on how/where i can download a map and install it on the tom tom. Hopefully at low cost or maybe free.

Ive just uploaded the France map. £39.00 but all on the device as mine doesnt have an SD card slot either.

Might be worth asking the hire co as some do rent sat navs. It's only a fiver a day, about the price of half a lager!
