I got a bit bored of BF3 recently so I thought I'd revisit this game. I've had it for ages and hardly played it so thought it would be good to give it another go. I was surprised that EA have completely shut down the online facility for the game.

They are incredibly obsessed with making money aren't they? I put in Ghost Recon 2 the other day and servers for that game were up and running despite it being an extra 2 years older than Tiger Woods.

i really despise EA now, making lots of convienient extras that you have to PAY for on top of the game youve payed for and on top of xbox live membership youve paid for , its ridiculous, they are just money grabbing jewheads.

a few years ago if a popular game had a content update it would be free as it should.

Nowadays its clever marketting to get the kids to pay for everything using parents money.

EA are the worst at this it seems because they release so much extra content that costs about £10 a pop say for new maps etc...



My plan would be to boycot paying for the content until they make it all free but this will never happen!!!!

Exactly. And you're guarenteed that they will bring out a new version of their sports games every year. Even if there is hardly any difference.
