Afternoon All,

I’m a 10 year La Sarthe Veteran. Over this time had some brilliant trips down made better by the fact that we got friendly ( well enough to get our photo taken ) with Radical LMP2, Now Zytek Greaves Motorsport. LMP2 winners at Le mans last year.

Some of you may have seen some of our team themes over the years , Mexicans/Pimps/Elvis/Umpa Lumps/Thriller

Well it just so happens that the week before Sebring 12 hours I’m working in Atlanta so thought it would be rude not to get a flight down to Orlando and tag the 12 hours of Sebring on to my trip. I then had a better idea. Don’t Fly down to Orlando – Drive Down. So I’ve hired a Corvette for the 500 mile drive down.

I then thought that although it’s a brilliant experience and one to cross off the “bucket list” that I’m on my own. So using the gift of Information technology got it touch with Greaves Motorsport and explained I was one of the drunk, English people that they meet each year on Mad Friday ( see photo’s ) Next thing I know I’m going to be pitside for the 12 hours of Sebring – Awesome result.

So I’m going to Tweeting my experience so I can share it with all other Beer Mountaineers / Endurance Petrol Heads – For those of you on Twitter follow me @BAZ8465

Thank you Matt. 30 minutes which has confirmed my suspicion the Sebring is US Le Mans.

Bucket list addition - in fact 2013 addition.

My pleasure. If you've been around Le Mans long enough to recall what it was like pre-Audization and the addition of the concrete fortifications and razorwire, you will really appreciate the accessibility and friendliness of Sebring. It has a similar atmosphere, a bigger party, better weather, fewer dheads - and you can actually get to see the cars on track and up-close.

For those of us not making it to Florida the Eurosport schedule is out, coverage from midnight to half two. Terrific. Hope the internet streaming works better than last year.

Great news, Motors TV are covering most of the race, their ALMS coverage is great, thought they wouldn't have Sebring with Eurosport having the WEC rights, they didn't last year. Shame we're stuck with Eurosport for the rest of the WEC, Motors for the ALMS and LMS though.
