Found it. Email sent to you!

bowtie

(May not be a Evo 2? - more of a Fulvia/Beta man!)

Now find me a Alfa 145 Cloverleaf in midnight blue with less than 50,000 miles!

I just don't like driving on the wrong side. I understand that John Whaley converted a few evo2 cars.

Ok, personally i think it makes it even more special!

JW did do some but not sure i have ever come cross a RHD Evo 2.

May be a myth but i thought the RHD cars ended up with different steering rack etc and lost some of the feel that characterises the integrale.

It depends on the rack used, I know the Fiat Ritmo/Strada rack is popular and that's what's in my integrale, but apparently any of the Tipo platform cars racks will fit. So that means the even quicker racks of the 155 v6 or late 145 racks should fit. Trying to find one myself

Don't recall seeing any Evo Cats converted to RHD, problem is you instantly kill off demand from Europe come resale time.

LHD is part of the cars charm. Luckily it has more than enough power to compensate for the relative lack of forward vision when overtaking. It doesn't take much getting used to tbh.
I thought wanting a Lagos might seriously limit my choice but RHD makes Lagos look almost common place laugh

I'm afraid you've been completely misinformed.

Jw built their own racks so a rhd should feel identical to original car. However they have informed me that many rhd cars have now gona to Australia as the integrale is very popular down under. Will keep looking though.

I think it might apply to the 8 and 16v integrales only. Don't the Evo's have a different setup?

I've always wondered if the rack and pinion can be removed from the LHD rack and would fit inside a RHD rack. But getting hold of an original integrale rack down here is pretty tricky when there are only a couple of dozen in the country.

I understood importing any car into the "Colonies" was very expensive and full of all sorts of difficulties.
