Buckled wheel on my cayenne!

Hi,

After having a slight vibration and pull from the cayenne got the last week, I got the wheels balanced today and found that the drivers front wheel has a slight buckle which us causing the vibration and tracking issues.

Question is, after Porsche just quoted £600 for a new wheel, does anyone know much about getting this one repaired? Has anyone got any reccomendations of a mobile repair company that offers a good job?

Im in NE Scotland if that helps?

You will have to send it off - plenty of companies on Google - unless you are in Glasgow as a Glasgow Kiss should straighten that right out - no problem!

Other than that - its a specialist job and the force required to straighten a wheel out safely is immense - would you trust a mobile guy in a white van with that job - I certainly would not.

Theres a full set of turbo rims and tyres on ph for 500 quid. Job done.

I appreciate that getting it straightened out is going to be the least inexpensive option, but will it give you the peace of mind you want.

Looking through the bay etc. there are plenty about, both singles and full sets.

Good point! Except will the eBay ones be the same or worse?

If I have to spend £600 so be it, but I just wanted to check out Hhe options first.
