I’m thinking about changing my Nakamichi stereo unit for one with a flip up screen incorporating satnav, can anyone recommend a good unit, perhaps with a brushed alloy surround to match the switch gear:

The Nakamichi works really well with my Alpine speakers and has a great sound, I wouldn’t want to detract from my current sound quality but just wondered if there’s a unit with satnav that would work as well or better?

I went for the Kenwood KVT-522DVD system with hideaway Garmin SatNav unit. Believe there is an updated version on the market now as I've owned it 5+ years, but it had all the things I wanted at the time including I-pod hook up.

Hi,
I am thinking about getting a similar unit. Do you find yours affects visibility when the screen is up?
