I'd hazard a guess at a high percentage of Elise's have been repaired at one time or the other, as long as its been bolted back together properly I wouldnt worry too much.

But £16.5K is a bargain and if I had any spare cash I'd buy it in a shot.

It's also taken three months to completely strip, respray and rebuild it, so no 'like new' isn't really that much of a stretch. I reckon it's put together better than a factory car, in fact I KNOW it's put together better than a factory car.

Mr. Harman,

When you stay "stacked" what exactly do you mean?

You'll find it was a bump on the rear clam that was borderline scrap/repairable. (Just the clam that is)

I believe a new clam was used in the 'refresh'.

Yep I think its fairly priced and I hope you get the money for it. Elises with honda engines are beautiful machines. It really taps the cars potential.

Well; I can only say one thing, now I have my car Honda'd as well:

Monkey's car looks AWESOME in the flesh, and believe me, it's a decent price for the car.

And about driven hard... well, the car goes fast, but that doesn't mean the engine has been abused, it's just unbelievably fast. Beats about anything out there on the road...
