anybody used a Beta-Alanine
Discussion
I’m reasonably fit, gym three times a week (cardio and weights) eat like a horse but I’m not seeing any real muscle definition or weight gain. I read up on the 300 work out or the Spartan work out and came across these supplements called muscle extreme which contain Beta-Alanine. Basicly I was just wondering if anyone has tried them or has any thoughts on them.

I think if you are eating a lot, lifting weights and not gaining in any fashion then beta-alanine isn't the answer.
If you want to post your exercise plan and diet the PH lifters will be able to offer some advice because something is broken here if you aren't gaining.
One thing is for sure beta-alanine will not fix your problem.

It's very hard to gain weight and increase muscle definition at the same time unless you know what you are doing. If you're not bothered about CV fitness at the moment then ditch thei'm after some help here from the healthy ph members and those in the no.
cardio and just do weights,or do your cardio on a different day/s.I don't know of Beta-alanine having only tried a handful of supplements over the years and that's not been one of them.
If a time served lifter says B-A won't help then I'd take their advice.

IME B-A makes your's face and hands tingle (which I quite like....)- other than that it doesn't do much. i'm after some help here from the healthy ph members and those in the no.
It is used as a buffer for lactic acid to hold off the onset of fatigue in intense anaerobic activities such as 400m running or sprint cycling. sodium bicarb does the same but makes you s

Get you're diet sorted. If you arent gaining weight then you arent eating enough regardless of how many millions of calories you think you've consumed.
You need to work out your maintainance and add about 500 cals to your daily maintainance to gain 1/2lb a week any more is very likely to be pure fat.. Eat very clean too - crisps and chocolate arent going to make you look 'musly' you'll just end up a blob
