Haven't seen a thread for this anywhere else yet.

First details released this morning on his Radio 2 Breakfast Show;
Hill climb hosted at Jodie Scheckter's House
His "Magnificent Seven" Ferraris
All profits to Children in Need
Weekend Camping
Family Oriented

He's apprently going to organise the whole thing over the next 40 days for the August Bank Holiday Weekend.

I think it sounds good so far - look forward to hearing more details...

CarFest, CarMalade. Whatever. Bring the family. Food and all good stuff on the left, crazy car goings on on the right. And a whoppingly exciting hill climb cutting the two in half. It's a one night stop over mini fest for all the family. Cars Food Music And Camping. Rock on. August Bank Holiday weekend. And all for Children In Need.

Love it.

Now can anyone help get our hands on 200 portaloos ???

Peace and Love

Yes you're right it's August Bank Holiday. I got confused as he is planning to organise it all in the next 40 days and I assumed that meant he was going for the Easter Bank holiday.

Can't imagine why they would do that when it's for charity.

For anyone making the journey, one of the best tunnels in the area is only about 1 mile away. It has to be worth a detour on the way:

Went through that tunnel on our wedding day in a Mk2 Jag with my new bride. Driver turned round to apologise about having never grown up before dropping it in to second and flooring it biggrin
