V8 Vantage Battery info
Discussion
Need to replace my battery as the little bugger isn't charging on long journeys.
Also now throwing up a SRS Airbag fault which after abit of googling seems to stem from a battery fault.
Since i have some free time in the next couple of days and i cant get the car booked in till monday, i thought ill replace it myself.
Has anyone got the dimentions of the battery?

From my recent experience I'd say;
Get the alternator checked that it is charging
Get the battery checked that it holding a charge and all 6 cells are good
Get a drain test done
If it all point to a dying battery, it is a Varta 100Ah unit

But I'd replace it with an AGM unit for better cold cranking ability

It's the Ah rating, terminal position and size that are critical
Seems like you know your onions here .............. silly question but presumably the two batteries you've recommended are identical replacements? (ie correct size dimensions and terminal positions). is this the original? http://www.performancebatteries.co.uk/product/H3/
