Anyone else seen the new Vantage V8GTE yet? I really must have one! The exhaust maybe a touch extreme though.
Being serious I wish the race team good fortune this year. A class win at Le Mans would be truly excellent.

God yes!

The 991 is by far the best looking 911 since the 993. The rear end is sublime, especially on the RSR.


Still... I think the V8 GTE wins on the looks department.

I believe you're right - reading rather than just looking at pictures, the 991 will debut in the near future.

Seemed too fast to homologation. So long on the tooth Aston races long in the tooth 911... Sounds fair to me!

I don't know if anyone has been watching the 12 hours of Sebring on MotorsTV over the weekend, but the Vantage GTE has done brilliantly and finished 3rd on it's debut

Lets hope for even more good results

I think some of you DBR9 fans need to turn your hearing aids up.

The DBR9 sounds like any other highly strung V8/10/12. What you are hearing is all exhaust. Nice sounding pipes, but pipes nonetheless.

The Vantage GTE is guteral and distinctive, you can actually hear the engine. And is by far the better sound.

You hear 'the engine' on the V8 but the 'exhaust' on the V12? You can't be serious. You only ever hear the exhaust on any car, unless maybe if you're sitting in it, and then only if the exhaust isn't loud.

ALL you hear on either car is the exhaust.

No I'm not serious.

But seriously, you can put an exhaust on any Italian supercar and it will sound like that DBR9. The Vantage GTE sound is distinctive, well to us Brits anyway.

Winning races would definitely be a bonus.
