Not surprised, I love KTM but not the Xbow. Doesn't seem as special as the competition or anywhere near as interesting as their bikes. Not to mention eye wateringly expensive.

Yep, £65K for the R version (the one worth having).

I think I'd find another £10K and go for the ultimate selfish purchase BAC Mono

It'll eat the X-Bow for breakfast and is a work of art in the flesh.

I saw a x-bow in the flesh at spa & liked the look of it but, I'm just a bit confused by it.

It's the same part of me that thinks "you paid how much?" when I see an R500 or a supercharged atom, or. Radical for that matter, though at least you can race the radical.

I know people who drive these things over to the ring but it all just sounds like so much hard work compared to say a 911gt3 or a Nissan gtr.

Still, to sell only one in two years, even two crappy years like we've just had-the mind boggles

I guess that means we know who bought the only one then.

Err yeah but what I meant was that the radical can be raced pretty much as they are, in that not many actusl road versions are made.
I suspect that the ktm isn't quite "race-ready" out of the box

We raced our clubsport road car for two seasons, all we added for the first season was a kill switch and some stickers. There is also a one make race series in Europe for the road car too.

I want to love it, but when the 2-Eleven, Atom 300 and R500 are all 2/3 of the price it's just too expensive.
