After having a chat with the helpful people at GAZ I took the Wedge on blast down to their Basildon HQ to show them what was required. Turns out the SH setup has been a complete failure. The supplied Shocks were too short and the springs incorrectly rated for thier purpose. The fix is to have a bespoke pair of shocks made longer in length and wider in diameter with 720lb springs for £170 plus VAT. These will be ready in a couple of weeks. Needless to say, I'm not happy having to shell out again for the front suspension setup but needs must.

Interestingly enough, once the car was lowered off the ramp the car sat briefly on to its correct ride height and drove beautifully until the springs became coilbound again sending me back to Flinstone levels of ride and comfort complete with stiffer steering and plenty of vibration all round - still the car drove better on the way back then it did on the way there on a 60 mile round trip from my home in Enfield.

When the time comes, I'll send some feedback with piccys to inspire those who've may have had similar issues. Taking the Wedge to GAZ was the right thing to do - if they couldn't solve the problem who could...?
