Had a 'dibble' against a Boxster tonight

On the way back home tonight I had a Portly Boxturd in front of me trying desperately to get away...
I didn't even have to take it above 4000rpm to stay with him and you could see he was REALLY trying....god I love my TVR

the funniest thing was I had my takeaway curry on the passenger seat that I was trying not to spill

Yep, I had one trying to keep up last week - any time I got the chance to give it some he just got embarrased and eventually gave up trying!Think I recruited a few more TVR fans that evening...

Had my griff 500 for a week and a half and already had a plethora of backwards baseball cap wearing fools having a go at me !!
This week i had a audi TT, sierra cosworth, nissan 200sx, renault 19 16v!!

some people eh!!
The guy in the audi was a traffic light race to the next set of lights.
when i got trapped at the next set of lights, he wound the window down and shouted to me!

Ive got a girls car haven't i !!!

Had a play with a Z350 Nissan last night.
Dual carriage way, I'm on left in 3rd. 350 pulls out from the car behind me and his lights rise. I let him get his front level with my rear and i floor it. He must of had 20mph on me before I started but still left him behind in the fast lane Although I did have to use all my rev range They can "make some good progress"

Travelling along minding my own business, dual carriageway, and two bikes are flying down the outside lane, and as they get to me they just stop level and stare at the car. (I have blacked out windows so they can see me).

I slipped the car into 3rd quietly (if you can in a T350) and as they crouched down to accelerate I just pushed the pedal down, and they did they have a surprise. I was still there with them as they thought they were going to roar away

So what did make the term 'value for money' mean in the early 90's then The V8S was quicker in gear than the 911 Turbo of the day, for about 1/4 of the price . It gets blown away sometimes today, but not very often Tivs don't you love em .

I have had races with a couple of boxters including my freinds one, and they really are not that quick. i have only got a slightly modified 280i and i over took both, I did find hovever that the boxter was quicker in a straight line but not so on the twisties or brakeing and my car has got crap brakes they sometimes bring the rear of the car out under very very hard braking.

I only have 180hp with a fibre glass car, I know my mate is a sh1te driver as could the other person(pattern forming here) mind you it could be very likely that the other driver was a woman...

I suspect there could be a number of reasons;

1) They didn`t notice you were there

2) It was a sh@gged out 2.5 automatic

3) A w*nker was driving

Unfortunately, in my experience, around 50% fit into the latter category but you should never make assumptions!

Just seen your profile, A boxter s does carry my respect as these are generally driven by proper drivers, i would consider myself to be a fairly good driver as when i was in motertrade i had all sorts of driver training to make me smoother fast rather than aggressive, also some trackday experience, I have left some much faster cars behind in the twisties and braking exept Gbird in his cerb
