getting a giulietta cloverleaf on fri and just noticed no oilchange to 18,000miles!!i take it if driven enthusiastically-got 5mpg on test drive....at 1 point it is wise to change oil every say 6,000miles?? martin
^^^ Fully synthetic oil goes for ages. My Alfa Spider can use either, but I go for a 10 W 40 semi synth and just change it more often, rather than hold out. Being a twin spark, it drinks oil at about a pint per 1500 miles anyway, so it's constantly being topped up!
my 147 never used oil for last 4 1/2 years butchanged oil every 6,000 miles martin
Waste of time and money these days to be honest. I think you'll find your new car might need an oil change every year if you don't do 18000 a year anyway.
