Remote Central Locking

Firstly Apologies all if this has been asked before but search is not working.
I've just been given a universal remote central locking kit that's been sat in a friends garage for years, all fully functional but never taken out of the box so said i could have it.
I have a 94 with no central locking and was wondering if anyone had done this upgrade or knows if it is even feasible. The kit comes with a receiver for the remotes and then 4 solenoids, but i'll obviously only need 2.
My questions would be; can i wire this up to the current solenoids, will i need to use the solenoids given, what is the location of the current solenoids in the car ?
Any help would be really appreciated guys.

Yea i'm looking forward to seeing it done as well now mate!!!! I'm trying to do everything at once whilst it's in pieces and before i start driving it. I know for a fact that if i'd have been driving it from day 1 none of what i'm doing would get done, just hearing that sexy V8 note every day would've meant i'd never want it off the road !!!
