Does anyone know whether it is possible to de-restrict a Jag XFR 5.0?

Paramount performance I believe will do it, but I think the ecu needs to be changed at the same time.

Should hit 180 ish without limit, an BHP gets close too 550, not experienced the XFR derestricted as there's plenty to go at 'standard'

why would you want to?

restricting is a handy way of making a car cheaper than it would be otherwise - no need to make the car go, handle and stop at its true max.

its all part of the BHP willy waving, handy way of producing the headline figures but not the car to do it.
