996 TT headlights - looks like mould growing?

Has anyone noticed any light white mould inside the clear plastic growing on said headlights? - it's not bad, just a bit noticeable.
Can it be got to, to clean off?

Yes indeed - moisture in headlight units is an issue for 996's as it was for 993's too. White mould (due to the moisture) is an extra delight some units enjoy.

Not sure about cleaning but I am sure it is possible.

Or possibly take them out and kill the mould with heat or light ?

Thanks. This is what I thought.
I don't think it's going to be easy getting the light unit apart - I'll ask my local OPC.
