Speedo not working

My Speedo has just stopped working, it has a digital readout for the milage. So I have no needle movement and no milage readout.

Any clues as to where to start?

There will be a sender somewhere near the diff or gearbox

Check if sender is on the toothed wheel set up on axle, or into gearbox. Check electric connections.

Just had same problem - though issue was intermittent not sudden and permanent. Was combination of:

a) Speedo sensor dirty and not 'pulsing' correctly - quick clean with meths sorted that
b) Diff moving in its mount under braking and 'disengaging' slightly from sensor - all tightened up and fine now.

3hr job for someone who knows what they are doing. I can recommend Chris Draycott Motorsport in Derby who's just done mine and it's both cheap and high quality job.
