anyone got one?

they seem a bit pointless, would it not be better buying one or two year old A4 with 20k on the clock

Yes I do. 2.0 TSi Mapped to 265bhp.

2010 plate with 28k on the clock. It has all the toys the S-Line has without all the bling, does a sub 6 second 0-60 and will leave any repmobile standing yet cost me 2/3 the price of a 2009 2.0TDI A4 bland-mobile. And unlike the A4 every other car on the road isnt one.

How is that pointless?

Depends if you value the warranty and ability to pick options. If anything, the Exeo makes more sense than an A4 ever will.

you can say that about any new car? why by an A4 when you can get a nearly new one half price.

if everyone thought that way who would buy the new car's that become second hand?

Ive often wondered why SEAT dont build a Cupra/FR version of this car. It would sit very nice at the top of the SEAT range and should sell well!

One below is a bodykitted version but gives you an idea as we know it could eaily take a more powerful engine! 2.5 turbo 5 cyl anyone

Well my TSi is already 265bph the same as the Cupra R.

The thing I would change mine for is if they produced one with the RS4 V8 lump in it.

The main reason I have been told they didnt/dont is because they positioned it as a mid range fleet wagon for the euro market.

But a halo model would shirley have the same affect as with Audi and the RS/S-line and increase SEAT sales! produce a performance car that everyone wants and then buys the warm diesel with bodykit instead! I think 300bhp turbo petrol would be spot on

Shhhh. dont tell everyone. They'll all want one and it'll become as common as A4's. I like the "Exclusiveness" of mine smile

I agree. When I come to change cars i'll be looking at them.

Used 2.0 TSi Sports are incredible value for money and the newer ones have 210bhp.

I have tried looking and there seems to be precisely zero used 2.0TFsi estates for sale in the entire UK. All the others are oil burners and I don't do the mileage to make diesel an option for me.

Only seem to get 2.0T saloons

Bit of a bummer.....

Did you find the first gen Skoda Superb pointless? After all that was an A4 with a lesser badge on the nose, still sold whilst the B6 and B7 A4s were on sale, using a platform dating from the mid 90s!

Thats because there are precisely zero TSi Estates in the UK full stop, for some reason SEAT didnt feel there was a market...hopefully they will rectify that error soon. There are only 173 TSi saloons in the UK too, which was why I snapped my dealers hand off when he got one in.

Ahhh... that'll be why then - thanks Flossy. I'll take my money elsewhere then.

Bit of a fail for Seat UK
