Finally got round to scanning in some photos I took at the end of May, up in Norfolk.

I was out by 4:30am to catch the sunrise, and was pretty pleased with the results!

What do you reckon?

A few more are on my website

Really like the second one Ed, is that straight from the camera?

Yup - tweaked levels in PS to boost the contrast (my scans always come out a bit dull), but that's as near as I can get it to the original slide.

Number two for me as well. Very atmospheric. Perhaps the reflection one should be the other way up? (My first thought was that you'd added a wave effect or something to a straight shot!)

I did think that, but then thought it might be more interesting to flip it up and make you think!

They should always be straight, you don't want to go tilting at windmills. Rich...

Thinking of that last shot, I think it would have been great to include the whole subject (windmail+reflection).
I've really grown to like reflections and find they are very interesting ways of livening up a shot - theres never enough good size puddles!

That one looks familiar.

2nd one is still the best. Just a superb photo.
