Independent with bolt on warranty or OPC
Discussion
I'm looking for a lower mileage 997c2s, budget up to £40k. I'm concentrating on OPC's as I have a c class to part exchange and for the two year warranty. Am I limiting my search?
Do reputable independents give sensible part exchanges (appreciate wooly question) and could I buy a 997 from them and retrospectively put an official Porsche warranty on the car?
The final challenge is finance as I'm looking to fund the car by way of a pcp with balloon. Anyone done similar? Appreciate any guidance.

find the right car, get it inspected by an OPC then
buy a 1 or 2 year OPC warranty..
This can only be done after 90 days of ownership unless it's a private sale and you get the current owner to do it before completing the purchase (it can be transferred immediately).buy a 1 or 2 year OPC warranty..
There's a chance some independents would retail your car so may be able to give you a little more for it.
If you were interested in a very low mileage 1-owner C4S that could be bought with OPC warranty applied then PM me.
