It is that time of year (again)..

I saw my first '12' plate today.

Ford Transit

So, I just started this thread for posters to post what cars they see on '12' plates before they get too common.

When new plates come out, I always see them first on a Japanese pickup of some description - usually a Warrior.

Officially '12' plates should only be allowed on the road on the 1st March 2012 shouldn't they?

BTW ,i was under the impression any car seen out with a new plate before the

first official day could have plate removed and a "61" stuck on it.

The one I saw had dealer plates below.

Also at TESCO filling up!

I assume it was doing a PDI check ready for tomorrow. smile

Saw a couple on a transporter heading north up the M1 tonight - a 5-series touring and a Porsche Cayenne.

I have been seeing them for several weeks though. '12 plate (SN12...) single deck buses heading for London (London General livery) - they're always just south of Wakefield on the M1.

I saw two 12 plates on the A1 last week.

Unfortunately it was nothing glamourous.

Two brand new, filthy dirty, buses on 12 plates but with trades in the rear windows.

What a disappointing first 12 spot.

Saw one on my drive this afternoon.

Busy day tomorrow for both me and the dealer , kill two birds with one stone by having it delivered this afternoon.

Mate asked if I was going for a drive at midnight .......er no ,hopefully I'll be asleep.

Not sure how that would work? Once it has a 12-plate assigned that's it, can't change it to a 61...
