Got mine.
Going to Nottingham I think.
Having seen GnR (or Axl's cover band as my mate uncharitably calls it) a few times, they're generally really good if it's their own indoor gig. Festivals just seem shoddy.

They were excellent in Manchester last time.

After there watching them at Reading festfurious never again!

I would happily watch Slash again they played all the GnR stuff only the vocal sounded way better then it did song by the original guy twaxall Rose

I sincerely hope if you do watch them they come on stage on time and spend more time playing there tunes rather than changing costumes

To be honest, I've no problem with them coming on late, they always do it. They still played a full 2hr 40min set and I had more drinking time smile.
I've seen Slash numerous times and expected to be disappointed by GnR in 2010, but I thought it was excellent (although I was near the front).

Why?

When I saw them at download a few year ago I'd just seen the prodigy and was buzzing, I approached the main stage and heard what I though there were some roadies doing a soundcheck and dicking around with jokey covers, in fact it was the axl rose comedy g.n.r tribute act with seb bach on vocs, it was comically awefull, I (literally) collapsed laughing.

Watched them at reading festival and they were crap, i was gutted.
They came on late and sounded rubbish, did the same next night at leeds fest and there own tour dates.
I think the cock rock bands we watched in the early 90's poison, warrant should be left there, the memories are often better than them playing now.
Weirdly enough though the grunge bands seem to age much better.

Guns n Roses are the kind of band people need to stop paying to see to send the message that fans are not retarded sts that will take any old crap in terms of music or just being treated like crap.

I'm going.

Saw them in 2006 (I think!) with BFMV supporting and once you get past the lateness, it was an amazing gig. Great atmosphere.

Better than when I saw Maiden...

I don't agree, the Manchester gig was great. The only people I've met who thought it was crap are the people who left before they actually came on stage.

Got sent the email by ticket soup to get tickets for Glasgow. I didn't bother as I'd much rather see the original lineup, but seeing as I was only 6 when Slash left, that's not gonna happen any time soon, unless Axl/Slash get their st together. At least one of them must realise that if they put their differences aside and reunited for a tour, they'd make $billions.
