Hi all

Having a bit of a stupid moment but as a few of you may know i brought this car http://pistonheads.co.uk/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&amp...

For £850 passed its MOT no problems and i thought i'd got myself a bit of a steal.

However have just seen this come up round the corner from me and tbh it looks fab has a much better spec lower mileage ect and i reckon i could get it for a grand. Great colour as well IMHO used to have a 318i in that colour.

http://pistonheads.co.uk/sales/3678762.htm

Now what is everyones opinions on this, i know there is always going to be a better car and hindsight is a wonderfull thing..... But do i sell my current 328i now its got a full MOT on it and bag myself this one to use or do i just let by gones be by gones?

Discuss.......... smile

That's easy! Kylie Minogue - April 1990.

Anyway, I prefer the wheels on the black car but I like the spec on the red one better.....although I prefer the black paint

If you prefer it - buy it.

I've done this before with cars simply to get a better interior or wheels for my car then sold it on for the same price meaning I get my upgrades for free.

The red one has got full spec as well i think i spy some heated seat buttons on the centre console smile
Electric lumbar support is quite rare in these as well.

Im very tempted by it so general consesus is sell the black one and buy the red one.

On the better the devil you know i dont really know the black one that well you see

I wish I had some cash, i'd buy that red one. It looks very nice.

Personally if you have the cash and the space to buy the red one and then sell yours I would. Climate and leather are worth the hassle IMHO.
You can fit leather to your black one but climate would be a monumental pain.

Why is PH full of tts who have to highlight every minor spelling/grammar or typing mistake? Everyone knows what the OP meant.

OP - Personally I think your one is a nicer colour and I prefer the alloys. I'm not sure what you gain by swapping except a leather interior? There is quite often a reason why people sell a car, so I would be inclined to stick with the one you know if it has been problem free so far.

I dunno it wouldn't just be leather and climate, but the electric sunroof, heated seats, electric lumbar support (which is great on these) and mint body work.

Bit stuck on this, don't want to go view the car as most likely i will buy it. I can't really have 3 cars either lol

I did fancy the red one, but I fancied it at less than it was advertised for.

FYI, it's not a MINOR spelling mistake, it's a major one. Completely different word, which makes the sentence confusing to read.

Back to the OP - Better the devil you know and all that. Plus the red is an old man's colour hehe
