I believe this was a topic before, but can't find it.
I have found that one of my door rams has the plactic end broken off! (door end)
They are not steel like the rear clip rams, so very surprised at that.
Seems far to easy to break - the shear seems to have happened where the neck narrows.
Is this common? Where can I get a new one? It just screws onto the end of the shaft!
A steel one would be better?
cheers

Thanks Guys...the factory kindly have donated another 'end' for my cause after taking into consideration that I am 'off my trolly' and 'OLD'!
Incidentally, I discussed the sight gauge possibilities for my LS7 tank with Ted, and for the benefit of others, he advised me that it was not necessary, and the factory version does not have one either.
I have wrestled with the concern regarding 'overfilling' up till now, perhaps unnecessarily (never experienced running dry sump before) which whilst has implications for standard sump engines, it has been confirmed to me in simple terms that this is of no consequence (within reason) for the LS7 - so filling up the tank to just 'above' the baffle inside is the answer, which in most instances is a fair bit more oil than was originally recommended to me through other sources.
cheers
