Thinking of Buying a cougar

Hello. I am thinking of getting a Cougar 2.5 and I am wondering what i should be looking out for is there a buying guide out there somewhere? do they rust? any known issues I should look for when veiwing?

IMO, the Mondeo ST is a better car - especially in ST200 form.
