D70 from the US

A friend is going to New York soon and he may well see D70s with 18-70 lens for sale. I'm just wondering if I should ask him to pick one up for me. Technically, what will be different from the UK kit? I guess the battery charger will be set to 110V - how do I get round that? Is there any chance of an 'international' warranty?

Customs might be a problem though as he's already got a D70 and having two might seem odd...

All the charges I've seen are 100-240v so that shouldn't be an issue. You can get international warranty, but you must ask for it. Got my 100-400IS in NY with one.
