Does anyone have any good tips in finding a leak in the radiator. Used Radweld yesterday, as a temperary fix but it didnt last long. Would it be worth filling the tank up with water or some coloured die and possibly sticking some sort of carboard under neath to find the leak?

I haven't hadthe time to check underneath but hopefully I will get time at the weekend to get it fixed as I depend heavily on the use of my car.

When i find out what the leak is I will hopefully get a replacement part at the scrapyard and beg its an easy fix.

Any bits of information, Would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks again

Yes that would all be useful. When you say leak from radiator do you mean coolant leak? Wherever it is leaking will have a "fur" on it. Any fluid you suspect is coolant have a sniff and a taste, coolant is sweet.

If the radiator is leaking, and you know this for sure, why bother trying to find the leak with the radiator still fitted? Just get it out and get it to a heat exchanger repairers who will repair and pressure test it for you (if possible)
