I asked the same question a while back on another forum, and received no feed back. I used the OPC for an inspection service on my old 911sc recently with should we say mixed results, so would I would also like to hear of any recommended Independents in the Nort East.

I've heard good things about Red Line racing (RLR) and a previous owner of my car had a new clutch fittd there.

They advertise in the usual porsche mags (but their website seems to be down www.rlracing.co.uk/ )

Just got my S2 back after belts and a service with Tom. No complaints at all, very knowledgable and professional. There's plenty of nice porkiness to look at too.

If you don't mind travelling south a bit there is always Strasse in Leeds, or Specialist Cars of Malton in North Yorkshire. Never used them myself but people talk well of both AFAIK.
