Could be worth a punt but i've seen Tamoras with only Cat D damage for less than that.

Unusual to see 16s on such a late car though.
OP - do you know where in Bedfordshire it is? If Bedford or close by I'm happy to have a nose for you tomorrow, assuming it's a dealer its up with.

very much a bargain at that price, assuming it's been correctly repaired.
Lots of tosh written about CAT C & D vehicles - I've owned a few. and it can be a great way to get into a vehicle that you couldn't normally afford, just go in 'eyes wide open'

It is Andy Lyalls car and was written off last year when we were returning from TAG as it had damage to the chasssis and some body damage, When he bought it was classed as a CAT C write off I don't know How they can down grade it to CAT D

Says Cat C in the advert? Would be checking closely for Chassis damage though if it was known to have had some!

Sorry for the late response Zippee, I am unsure of where in Berkshire it is. I have sent some questions to him/her regarding location and for more information on the damage before repair and whether there is any photos of it before/during repair.

As i have mentioned B4, just be carefull & get a full chassis inspection B4 buying, apart from that the engine had just had major service & new clutch/slave cylinder etc...
I have passed on the paperwork to the current owner so reciepts come with the car.
Andy

P.S. Digger, i think i'm picking up the little trackday toy on Thursday so we should book a trackday at Oulton real soon.. Open pit!

Nope, boring I know but we decided that we would wait for a model at the right price which wasn't a Cat C. Saying that, we have also been looking at the AM Vantage in which prices are considerably lower than what I expected a vantage to be!

Thanks to everyone for the help though! thumbup
