We met with 2 of the organisers from the ACO recently and all that faff about bottles last year was down to one over zealous chap who was swiftly put in his place. That will not be hapening again this year (well that's what they said)

Over the weekend I was talking to a chap who goes to the Moto GP every year. He said for the last four years or so the supermarkets clear all the shelves of beer a day or two before the race (he could still get beer on the Thursday) but they'll still sell scotch, vodka, wine....

Go figure.
