hi, im taking my speedster for its iva test shortly, the tyres im running are all the same speed rating and the same sizes, but the makes are different so the thread patterns are differernt,is this ok for the iva,cheers

As long as...
Each axle pair are the same size
All 4 are speed rated higher than the declared top speed of the car
They have legal tread depth
Orientation is correct (for directional or asymetrical treads)
They're E marked for road use...

Then yes, they'll pass.

Yep, it'll be fine. My Minari went for IVA on some very old tyres that were on the wheels when I bought them. Four different makes, but all with legal tread depth, correct speed rating etc. as noted by AdiT.

In fact, when I picked the car up from Arden (who finished it for me) I was horrified to see how cracked the sidewalls were, so much so that I didn't want to drive the car until I'd got new rubber on there.

(Had to drive to the tyre place, obviously!)
