Hello Group,

Looking for some suggestions and photos for bolt on inner wings for my S1 Vixen. After realising that really the wings should not have been cut off when the chassis was replaced I need to come up with a tidy (i.e. not kit car) way of re-attaching them.

Can anyone post any pictures of Vixen S2 or similar bolt on wing arrangements to show attachment points?

Does anyone have any bolt on inner wings they need to get rid of (long shot I know)?

Thanks all

Steve

Yes,

this is something I am going to need to address too. Mine were cut off leaving a tiny stub and I think I am going to have to be quite inventive to get them back on.

Steve,
This is an original clamp as fitted to my S2.

I lost one of them though,so had to make some with stuff that was to hand. Same principle different material.

Hope these help.

Hi Andy,

Excellent, very useful. What does the attachment at the front look like?

Hi Steve,
Good point hehe

The thin diagonal bracket shown in last image is just a rad support by the way.

same with my racer.
looking to tape up and glass an overlapping flange at t rear of the mudguard then throughbolt with brackets at the front end.

S1's are fibreglassed on as a permanent part of the body tub as original, including wrapping around the front most outrigger. When you convert to bolt on their is quite a lot of moodifying in this area to do.

S2 vixen on are fully removable
