My father in law died this afternoon. He was in Spain on holiday. Mother in law is in bits. Brother in law is flying out tomorrow. Probably no health insurance, but money not a problem. What do we need to do/know? Mother in law wants him cremated in the UKl definitely not in Spain.

Lazy post, sorry. Wife is in bits. Any advice welcome.

Sorry as well. Any travel insurance at all? Get in touch with the Embassy, they'll have some people who will be able to help with the arrangements.

Where you based ? I have a friend that deals with repatriations in situations like this ( east London).

Thanks guys - FCO Global Response have been tremendous. International undertaker sorted, local consular assistance for MIL arranged.
