CHEAPER PETROL AND DIESEL Petition
Discussion

Ooops sorry, just posted the same thing a couple of minutes agoAs we all know, the majority of the price is tax. When oil prices went up, petrol/diesel prices went up very shortly afterwards. When oil prices halved, the price of fuel dropped by a few pence ..... there are too many vested interests. This country was living on borrowed money for over a decade .... and still is!

Its common knowledge that to reduce fuel duty the goverment has to find the money from somewhere else to make up for it... wheres that going to be coming from then?
Reduce benefits to 2 children only, no big houses, no 10 child's worth of payments, you want more than 2 you get a job, can't pay? they get taken away.BlueMR2 said:

that would save you absolutely nothing, no where near the amount you would need to.does sound like the daily mail is working out well for you though

Simply not increasing it further would do. They benefit from higher pump prices through increased VAT take anyway.Significantly lower duty = increase in either income tax and/or NI.
