What is that? Airbed in the Channel and see who makes it to France?

If its at North Wield, isn't that a disused airfirld with horrible grippy runways?

You'd probably do about 3 x 360's before your tyres wore out!

North Weald is in Essex (J1 of the M11, IIRC) and when I was there in March, it was slipperier than a big bag of slippery things on National Slippery Day. There are some piccies at www.borough19motorclub.co.uk/gal_210304_nw.htm

281 & 282 look vaguely familiar...

we use the airfield regulary for drift days, the surface is harsh on tyres if you get a good drift and keeping the tyres spinning all the way our 1000 metre drift track, your scored on skill and control and your be grinning for 48 hrs ,we have an advantage over the bib,we have been drifting alot longer ,don't get left behind boys!

the charity is open to discussion,my suggestion is AMBER

Would love to have a go, but unfortunately it's the wrong end of the country for me.

It's at J7, the Harlow junction. I did some gliding at North Weald many years ago. Harlow looks great from the air. Pity it's so shite at ground level...

There used to be - not sure if they still do it now - drag racing @ North Weald. Proper set up on the strip, with the correct emergency services in attendance. A run-what-you-brung type thing - but some amazing cars and bikes there - and only £10!!!!
Does anyone know if it's still going?

What's the prospective date for this challenge - could be worth a visit to view!

Think 999 wasn't too far from there - is he still around?
