How to remove roof

Right im stripping down a mx5 at the moment and wasn't 100% on removing the roof. Got the mechanism off no probs but how do you remove it from the back of the body does it just prise off or is there anything else that holds it on.

Pull the carpet poppers out and remove the deck carpet. You'll see a U-shape Greg plastic channel running all the way along, this is the rain rail. The roof is fixed to the body sandwiched between this. Once the carpets off its obvious.

It's easier to do this with the seats out, it doesn't take long to get them out.
Unto all those 10mm bolts (iirc)that snotrag mentioned, then there are 3x 14mm bolts (iirc) at what is effectivly the B pillar. If your worried about the paint work get someone to help you lift it off

Cheers i knew somebody would know on here. Im not to worried on the paint work as the body will get scrapped anyway.
