As the title suggests. We'd probably all like an Elanor or big V8 Falcon on our driveway but can't afford one.

So what is the most achievable film car?

I'd suggest the humble white Peugeot 406 as used in the 1998 Luc Besson film Taxi

Perfect casting as it was the best selling minicab in Europe from 1996 to 1999. Due to the film link it's also one of only three French cars I'd consider owning.

So find a car for sale and add a Youtube link to justify it.

Happy hunting. smile

Are we talking iconic film cars, or merely cars that were used in films?

I suppose in terms of 'iconic' TV/movie cars, the cheapest to do would be either a GMC van resprayed black with a red stripe down the side, or a black Pontiac Firebird with one of those red 'scanner lights' installed in the nose.

Et voila - The A-team van or KITT.

2CV from one of the old Bond films with Roger Moore (can't remember which one, might the same one with the underwater Lotus).

I would have said Mr Bean's Mini, but they are starting to get quite pricey unless a total wreck.
