Hi
Perhaps a question for those that visit Spa, the ring ect.

I am about to put Federal 595RSR road legal track day tyres on my car.
This is a track car that is road legal and I will be driving it on and off from Calais to Germany.
So I will pass through a bit of France, Belguim and Germany.

Are these tyres road legal in Europe? The last thing I want is for the Belguim police to stop me and throw the book at me.

Or does the fact, that it has a MOT is good enough for the French/Belguim/German police.

Or does that not count in their eyes and the tyres have to conform with their laws?

I greatly appreciate any advice on this.

Thanks

Tread depth and the CE mark are what counts, unless it's winter when you'll need winter tyres.

Thank you that has helped clear that up.

CE mark - means it just needs to have one.
So anyone on here got Federals have they got a CE mark on them?

thanks chaps smile

If the tyres are road legal here they're road legal in the rest of Europe. The sidewall should have a lower case letter "e" in a circle followed by a number.
