Any of you lot tried this bargain day out? http://www.efestivals.co.uk/festivals/dottodot/201...
I've been doing this fest for years and its always a brilliant day out all for £20 , seen some really great bands before they hit the big time

Its also a really good excuse to get on the beer all daydrink , you basically get a wristband in the morning then stroll from venue to venue watching bands till the early hourswobble

I went in 2010 and saw some great bands and artists. Proper good day/night out, and like you said it is fun getting on the booze all day. Will be going again this year.

2010 was a very good year , highlights for me that year Blood Red Shoes , The Eighties Matchbox B-line Disaster amazing set then broke up! the last band that night was Los Campesinos which was such a laugh because everyone was half pissed and all in a good mood

another unexpected bonus was meeting Steve Ansell drummer /singer from Blood Red Shoes and then taking him to a club for a few Whiskeys

I also went in 2010 and it was a great day out, well worth the money as they had a great selection of bands throughout the day. Good to see a number of venues that I had not been to before too.

looking forward to seeing Pulled Apart By Horses this year, if there last Bristol show is anything to go by it should be mental!! , I'll hopefully catch the Drums as well

Remember walking into a small venue with about 15 people and Temper Trap where playing this was just before they released sweet disposition and remember thinking these are a bit special! that's the beauty of Dot to Dot you get to see the next big thing without the crowds and everyone singing every song and filming the show on there raspberry rolleyes
