What's your favourite Star Car?

There have been many films/TV shows where the cars have been the stars just as much as the characters but what's your favourite? I'm thinking stuff like the General Lee, KITT, The A-team van, Herbie and the Starsky and Hutch Grand Torino. British films/TV shows don't seem to star the car in quite the same way, I can only really think of Inspector Morse's MkII Jag and the Audi Quattro in Ashes to Ashes.
I recently went to the Bond in Motion exhibition at the National Motor Museum at Beaulieu and I can thoroughlly recommend it. They also have a display of some of the Top Gear challenge cars there. You can enter a James Bond quiz on the day to win the opportunity to sit in one of the James Bond cars. Unfortunately I didn't win the opportunity to sit in my favourite which would still have to be the Silver Birch DB5. I know it's not going to be that quick by modern standards but is still utterly iconic and it is as fast as a Ferrari 355!
This would be closely followed by the General Lee and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang (I'm not really into vintage cars but this one is stunning. What is it?)
When I was 6, the Knight Rider car (was it a Pontiac Trans Am?) was my absolute favourite but in retrospect it looks a bit crap. Mind you, I used to think that David Hasselhoff was the coolest guy ever as well, so nuff said!
So what's your favourite star car and why?
