As above, probs either one of them or if you're unlucky both as when the fuel pump goes often it sents metal in to the injectors.
Personally I'd take off the fuel filter and empty it, inspect it in a glass with a magnet and see if there's any metal floating about. Then I'd try a leak-off test and recode the injectors before spending big money.
You can often get 4 recon injectors for about £150 on eBay done by a Delphi specialist. The fuel pump is expensive though and you need a laser timing tool if you're going to DIY it.

Hi,
I had the exact same issue. First cheap check is to change the fuel filter. If that doesn't fix it, try getting the OBD codes read, but it'll likely say an issue with fuel metering. I would then get a leak-off test done, that may point to the dodgy injector(s). One of my injectors was pretty much gone and had it replaced, however I found it didn't fix the problem. Only after I changed the fuel filter it was fixed.
Hope it's no too late to help!
