... Been raising some interest in a secluded backwater on here, and wanted to punt it out into the mainstream to try and find out whatever happened to it?

Is it still going? Kinda assuming not...?

IIRC didn't the police turn up and start handing out tickets to things like wrong sized number plates, tinted windows, Tax disk in wrong location etc etc.

VW evolved and became the Sunday Service. 5 years or so ago, Ted and I re-named the meets Sunday Service and we held our first over in Wadhurst after VW started to become too small as word spread. The SS meet was born out of the success of VW.

A few VW meets have taken place since, organised by PHers themselves, but not heard of one for a while now. I have some good memories of sunny mornings spent over there before lunch in the pub.

I miss those sunny mornings at VW. Great venue with the lakes and decent food as well.
