Ford V6 specialists in the west?
Discussion
Greetings
I was wondering whether anyone knew of or could recommend a Ford (or TVR) specialist in the west country that could set up my S2 engine properly, it's a 2.9 V6. I'm not particularly after more power, just making the best of what I've got.
The engine is lumpy on idle and slow to react when taking your foot off the throttle. I am the proud owner of a fault code reader and there do not appear to be any faults with the sensors. Likewise, there doesn't seem to be anything obviously wrong with any of the vacuum system pipes and induction pipework.
I could spend an age trying to solve the problem, so I figured that getting it looked at by someone with more experience in this field would be advisble.
I'm aware of the likes of Austec and others further afield but was hoping to find somewhere a bit closer to Bath / Bristol.
Any suggestions greatly appreciated
