Wagyu steak my stomach

Mrs A and I popped into a well respected restaurant in Manchester today where I treated myself to a delicious Wagyu steak (medium).

However, an hour later I had bad stomach cramps and let's just say it's lucky it only took ten minutes to get home.

Is this a normal reaction? I know this kind of steak is high in (unsaturated) fat so maybe my stomach couldn't deal with it? I'm fine now and was starving again shortly after being 'ill'.

Hmm, I've never heard of that before. I've had Wagyu steak, and found it to be utterly delicious, and I suffered no ill effects.

I find burgers sometimes give me the sts. Doesn't matter if it's burger king or shop bought, I get a stomach ache within 20 mins and have instant arse piss.

I Feel fine immediately afterwards though.

thai / malaysian food does it to me, i just reckon something im intolerant of.

What else did you eat/drink?

Sounds much like an IBS-type reaction, which is as often to alcohol / caffeine as it is to high-fat.

(Or if a proper 3-course meal with wine plus espresso, could be the whole lot rather than the steak specifically)
