I bought this whilst my t350 was away for the winter, i had hoped to be sold. I actually managed to find something less economical(5.3 v12)...still fun though, in a floaty kind of way!

Now i've got them both back, just in time for record fuel prices!

Happy days!

The reg is just a cruel taunt!
Its also totally different to the TVR or anything i've owned in the past. Its so smooth and quiet It could be my ideal 3rd car, but even i think having 3 cars is a bit excessive!
Its got to go....

Most impressive! And there's me bottling out of getting a suzuki swift sport as a third car : running cost versus 1000 miles a year usage

Only thing making me wince more than the idea of filling the Jag is the idea of reverse parking the T350 that close to the garage wall smile

XJ12s are amazing. So are the series II 6s.

40 years old and they are a better drive than many many modern cars.

Manufacturers seem to have forgotten how to make truly wafting rides in some desperate bid to make every car a rubber band gangsta ride.

Very few cars can waft like an original XJ.

As a kid I recall my mother, father and grandfather all having one at the height of the oil crisis!!!! My grandfathers British racing green one was one of my first cars with just 24,000 miles on the clock since 1974.

The hard bit is the step onto the gravel drive!

The jag is an awesome car though, i picked up friends for lunch the other week, couldnt of had a better car for the job.

I needed a four-door GT that would still feel lively, with the T350.

Supercharged 540bhp Aussie is fast and has a hilarious Mad Max soundtrack, it even handles/steers as well as an AMG Merc after the upgrades I was sucked into over the last 2yrs biggrin

that is one awsome beast! When I was searching for exhaust sounds on youtube (as you do), I can't find the link now but came across one of these. OMG what a delicious V8 growl. It sounds like every penny of your upgrades is worthwhile.
