Does anyone know where a Conversion Kit to fit 996 hardtop on 997 can be purchased from?

Either a link to purchase it online or the phone number of a company that sells them.

It's a bit early to be thinking of doing a backdate. Still loads of 996s out there.

There's a write up here with photos & part numbers, they should be available from your main dealer or from a breakers yard.

What car/colour have you got by the way?

I've got a 2005 996 Turbo S - unsure the exact colour code but it's Blue. And a hardtop from a 996 Carrera that doesn't fit on it. Trying to establish whether it's worth the effort to get it to fit or to just sell it and get a hardtop from a 997 - which i'm led to believe should correctly fit onto my 2005 Turbo S.

I gather from the renntech link it's a fairly easy job to change the locks on a late 996 turbo/997 so you just need to aquire a set of locks.
How about these chaps: http://www.douglasvalley.co.uk/item.asp?prodid=387...
